Collab with Skin of Nature brand
KI-72 Project is the eco-sustainable laboratory created by Madex SRL to realize an outerwear garment studied with total green materials in order to lower as much as possible its impact on the natural environment.
Skin of Nature brand has believed in the idea and in the raw materials tested by KI-72 Project and this collaboration has led to the creation of the Different Kind collection.

In 2016 Elena Beraldo, Creative Director of the brand, founded, together with a team that shares her philosophy, "a conscious brand that celebrated nature not only by producing in a sustainable and ethical way, but also by making it the very subject of her creativity."
The Skin of Nature brand produces its garment collections following an eco-sustainable path through the use of recycled and biodegradable raw materials, and by choosing a responsible production process.
Different Kind Collection
Skin of Nature collaborated with Madex and its KI-72 Project laboratory to create the Different Kind collection: jackets that are made for the elements, strong and versatile, made with biodegradable fabrics.
Different Kind is a one of a kind outerwear collection that combines purposeful design and material innovation to deliver elegant garments specifically designed to minimize their environmental impact.
The Different Kind eco-friendly collection is characterized by a fabric produced with the use of Amni Soul Eco® technology: it is a biodegradable lightweight and durable polyamide yarn coming from a totally sustainable process that uses cutting-edge technical to respect the environment.
The various details and accessories are also made of biodegradable bioplastic from food waste.
Amni Soul Eco®
Amni Soul Eco's® secret is its enhanced polyamide 6.6 formula, developed by the research efforts of the Rhodia-Solvay group, which enables garments to quickly decompose when they are discarded and left in landfills.
In anaerobic landfills, its unique composition allows bacteria to gain access to and digest the waste materials, thus accelerating the biodegradation process.
Amni Soul Eco® is eliminated from the planet in about 5 years, whilst other fibres take decades to decompose.
Like other biodegradable products, once it is in the landfill, Amni Soul Eco®, breaks down into organic matter (biomass) and biogas; both of these can then be exploited as new environmental resources as well as being used to cogenerate electricity.
